Used – Like New: Like New but without being crisp. The book may have been opened and read, but there are no defects to the book, jacket, or pages.

Used – Very Good : A book that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, with the dust jacket (if applicable) included for hard covers. No missing/damaged pages, no creases/tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May have very minimal identifying marks on the inside. Very minimal wear and tear.

Used – Good : This is the average used worn book that has all the pages and leaves present (no missing pages). Well read and in good condition. Minimal damage to the cover and binding. The dust jacket for hardcovers may not be included. Minimal creasing and writing/highlighting in the book. Very minimal identifying marks on the inside.

Used – Fair (Acceptable): A book with obvious wear. No missing pages that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text. May have some damage to the cover and the binding. Possible writing in margins, underlining, and highlighting of text. May contain cosmetic defects (marks, wears, cuts, bends, crushes, stains) on the inside.
